California Collection paintings 1-13
So far, so good in California : One painting per day for 80 days on the West Coast of America. Things are developing far quicker than I'd anticipated so it's far more than one painting per day and here's why, from a table in a back yard in Sacramento.....

No doubt that #1 Dollar & Stripes as featured in the last article was a strong start to the collection that led to very early enquiries on @dollarsandart instagram showing me the demand for the hotspots of the collection so far...
Producing the first print run of 'Dollar and Stripes'....
Signing the first editions!
& taking orders that have been wrapped, packed and despatched to Monaco, UK and Dubai! In the past I've waited to complete my full collection (this being my seventh in 6 years) but with strong social media feedback from real collectors there's no time to waste....
While you can - don't wait!
With a few emails out sharing the story, offering early bird offers to collectors of my work, opening up here on Shopify for friends old and new the response was enough to make it affordable for the average Jo aside from the 80 original paintings in the collection to photograph, frame and print.
To do this all in one hit at the end of this project would be a tall and labourious order. However, listening to real and daily feedback has been priceless, the way of modern fast paced and following your passion business has paid dividends..
Lightbulb moment #1 felt great in California - then another insta post of this Lucky Charms one morning...
With the extra Shamrock led to another, this time UK based 'I'd love one of those for my birthday' so it was again printed, signed, sample frames and off it went. The Bay Area and Sacramento based folk do seem to have a thing about Irish connections, lucky charms and Shamrocks.
Painting at The Golden Gate bridge ticked the bucket list and we've not gone to print on this one just but it will happen. Within 2 weeks, more studio shots - trial print runs underway with a request for The Dirty Harry Disruptive....

Then with a Folsom Prison penned in inspired by the one and only who played there 50 years ago the Gorilla is in full effect! We've even launched a contest to give him a name which will be announced shortly.....
